The AventX 26.1 and 26.2 releases deliver a significant leap in operational efficiency and platform modernization across the entire AventX product line. This update focuses on eliminating friction for both end-users and administrators through seamless single sign-on between Oracle EBS and AventX, self-healing integrations for Oracle Cloud ERP, and automated retrieval of external attachments for SAP HANA. These releases ensure long-term supportability and security while providing the high-performance throughput required by global enterprises.
As organizations continue to scale their document delivery and maintenance workflows, AventX 26.2 introduces intelligent automation to reduce manual intervention and prevent system downtime. From a new rate-limit manager that protects Oracle Cloud API capacity to automated print server recovery for JD Edwards and centralized visibility for remote Windows printing, this release empowers IT and operations teams to manage complex, distributed environments with confidence. Whether archiving critical documents via the new Archive Device or capturing granular field data through expanded mobile extraction, AventX 26.2 provides the tools to maintain total control over the document lifecycle.
AventX for Oracle EBS
Flexible Document Archiving with New Archive Device
The release introduces a dedicated Archive Device designed to provide greater flexibility for long-term document storage, with access and preview capabilities for up to 10 years of records. This new capability allows organizations to automate the archiving of critical business documents as part of the standard delivery workflow, ensuring compliance and easy retrieval without manual filing.
Seamless Single Sign-On for Oracle EBS
AventX now supports enhanced seamless single sign-on (SSO) between Oracle EBS and AventX. Users already logged into EBS can now access the Delivery Status, Manage Documents, and Printer Management screens without a separate login prompt. This eliminates workflow interruptions for print operators and accounts payable staff, allowing them to manage document queues with a single click.
Managing CUPS, Network, and Cloud Printers From a Single AventX Inventory
Most enterprise print environments are a patchwork…CUPS printers on Linux servers, direct-IP devices scattered across sites, and increasingly, Microsoft 365 Universal Print in the cloud. AventX consolidates it all into a single accurate, browser-based registry, where administrators can add, configure, enable, disable, and test any printer without touching a command line. And where the help desk can troubleshoot a failed printer job without a DBA.
Built-in connectivity checks confirm that each device is reachable, and for IPP printers, AventX automatically pulls live capabilities and applies them to the configuration, removing guesswork from setup. A 30-day scan history per printer gives administrators a running record for troubleshooting. Standing up a new environment no longer means manual data entry, either. Printers can be imported in bulk from CUPS servers, CSV files, or directly from Oracle EBS.
A Safer Way to Edit the Oracle EBS Printer Registry Without Direct Database Access
The Oracle EBS printer registry, the database records governing what printers exist and how they format output, has traditionally required direct database access to modify, putting every change one keystroke away from affecting printing across an entire instance. AventX replaces that risk with a dedicated, point-and-click interface for viewing and editing printer records, types, styles, drivers, and associations. Every edit is staged locally first, with a full diff shown before anything reaches Oracle, and changes are written only on explicit commit. A guided setup wizard installs the required Oracle wrapper package, configures the write identity recorded for every change, and verifies that the installation remains current. The outcome is an audited, low-risk workflow that lets administrators who aren’t Oracle DBAs maintain the printer registry directly, without support tickets or elevated credentials.

AventX for Oracle eAM
Expanded Maintenance Data Extraction
The Oracle eAM data extraction model has been extended to include additional fields specifically for use in mobile workflows. This allows maintenance teams to capture and utilize more granular asset and work order data in the field, improving the accuracy of maintenance records and supporting better long-term asset management decisions.
Advanced Work Order Sorting and Comments
The mobile experience has been improved by adding priority-based sorting and mandatory completion comments. These updates allow technicians to better manage their daily schedules and ensure that critical feedback is captured before a work order is closed, improving data quality for the maintenance department.

AventX for Oracle Cloud ERP
Self-Healing Oracle BI Publisher Integration
AventX for Oracle Cloud now automatically deploys and maintains its required BI Publisher data models and reports. By checking for and redeploying missing or outdated artifacts at startup, the system eliminates manual setup steps and prevents document-processing failures caused by accidental deletions or environment refreshes.
Intelligent Oracle Cloud API Rate Limiting
A new rate-limit manager protects document delivery performance by controlling the flow of requests to Oracle Cloud APIs. The system prioritizes live document deliveries over background tasks and automatically pauses intake when Oracle Cloud reaches capacity, providing operators with clear status visibility and preventing burst-related job failures.
AventX for SAP HANA
Automated External Attachment Retrieval
AventX can now automatically fetch attachments hosted at external URLs, including SharePoint, OneDrive, and internal file servers, to include them in document deliveries. This eliminates the need for users to manually attach supporting documentation, ensuring that maintenance orders and procurement files are always complete and compliant.
CSV Export for Delivery Analytics
Administrators and power users can now export delivery status data directly to CSV from the web interface. This feature enables easier reporting and analysis of document delivery performance, helping departments identify bottlenecks and optimize their communication workflows.
AventX for JD Edwards
Automated Print Server Recovery
To minimize downtime in high-volume printing environments, AventX for JD Edwards now features configurable retry behavior for transient print server errors. If a printer becomes briefly unavailable, the system will automatically attempt to recover the job, reducing the need for IT support tickets and ensuring critical business documents reach their destination.
Enhanced Web Client Security and Reliability
The Web Client has been fortified with tightened API authorization and automated configuration backups. Administrators are now prompted to restart services when changes require it, ensuring that system updates are applied correctly and securely while protecting the integrity of the underlying configuration.
AventX Translation Server
Expanded High-Efficiency Image Support
AventX Translation Server now supports translating HEIC image files, including tiled formats. With the addition of 20 new file and image formats, the server ensures that modern mobile-captured photos and specialized technical diagrams are seamlessly converted into professional PDF documents for delivery.
