Document Delivery Improvements

New Fax Partner: Integration with eFax Corporate Cloud Fax Service

In the latest releases of AventX, we are excited to introduce a new cost-effective, secure, and feature-rich option for enterprises considering a move to cloud faxing. With the introduction of the eFax Corporate cloud faxing solution, STR Software adds a dynamic faxing partner that offers international scalability, government- and healthcare-level security, and premium features for faxing from your ERP, desktops, and MFDs.

Advanced Click-Bot Detection for Email Tracking

The newest click Bot Detection feature in AventX provides a powerful addition to its comprehensive document delivery solution around Email Tracking. By intelligently filtering out obvious opens by well-known bots like Apple and Gmail, this advanced feature enhances the accuracy of email delivery confirmation, open rates, and click tracking. With an improved understanding of your email deliveries, businesses can effectively manage conversations with their recipients and improve overall brand reputation.

Support for Additional DocuSign Signatures

In the Summer of 2022, we announced the availability to send documents from your ERP using DocuSign’s Routing features. In the latest release, we’ve added support for up to 10 sequential signers when sending with AventX and DocuSign. With this enhancement, AventX now supports basic single-signature applications, multiple signatures that don’t require a specific signing order and complex (multi-signature, specific-order) signing requirements.

Download Signed DocuSign Files + Upload Them to the Oracle EBS Record

We have introduced a new feature allowing users to optionally improve the AventX for Oracle EBS + DocuSign delivery process. This enhancement gives users greater control and flexibility in managing their signed documents by including additional metadata information alongside the downloaded files. When paired with the AventX A2A for SharePoint software, AventX can dynamically save the Signed document against the appropriate Oracle EBS Record.

Oracle EBS Printing Improvements

Oracle EBS Printing to Support New, Unique Requirements—High Speed & Volume, Raw Printing to Windows Printer

In our latest release, we’re excited to offer a game-changing enhancement designed to address even the most challenging print use cases. This enhancement enables lightning-fast printing from EBS to printers. It is ideal for high-volume, high-speed organizations, such as retail and manufacturing, ensuring timely output for critical documents. Additionally, it can facilitate effortless conversion to RAW formats, such as XML, before delivering the output to printers connected to Windows Print Servers, making it a perfect fit for batch label and barcode printing.

True Print Status: Enhanced Troubleshooting for AventX Users

With True Print Status, AventX takes Oracle EBS document printing to a whole new level of transparency. No longer will you be left in the dark when a print job fails. Our innovative technology now queries the Windows printer for the final printer status (think: printed, printer offline, no connection, out of paper, etc.), empowering users with comprehensive and detailed information. This new functionality allows them to diagnose and troubleshoot any printing issues that may arise.

Windows Print Import Utility for AventX

The AventX for Oracle EBS Windows Printing module now includes an optional microservice to simplify configuring the application. By searching for Windows Printers, AventX can automate loading the printers into the AventX Printer table, speeding up the initial implementation or addition of new printers.

Enhanced User Experience for AventX Oracle EBS Local Print Client

Users of AventX for Oracle EBS Local Print utility can now conveniently download the installer directly from the AventX Web Client. This feature offers a more streamlined solution for end users, particularly benefiting organizations transitioning away from Java 8. Additionally, for users who already have the Local Print Client installed, AventX now includes a version check during application startup, saving valuable time by notifying users of available updates for download.

Work Order Creation & Printing Improvements

Create Long Text Work Order Attachments from a Mobile Device

This new feature for AventX Mobile for eAM allows users to create Oracle Long Text attachments directly from comments entered on a Work Order Packet within the AventX Mobile Work Orders app. This capability streamlines the process of capturing and integrating valuable information into the Oracle Enterprise Asset Management (eAM) system as part of the Work Order Completion process, improving overall asset management by contributing to streamlined work order processes and enhanced data accuracy.

Continue On Error Enhancements for Work Packet Creation

The core ‘Continue on Error’ feature enables work order packet creation to move forward even when an Attachment cannot be extracted for inclusion. With the latest update, we have improved the Continue on Error feature to insert an Error Page when an error is encountered instead of halting the entire operation. By generating an Error Page that provides specific details regarding the error, users have valuable insights and transparency when errors occur during the attachment extraction process allowing them to continue with the work assigned or to react to the missing content.

Email Created Work Order Packet

Users now have the option to deliver their Work Order Packets in PDF format directly to their email inbox. This enhancement streamlines the workflow by eliminating the need for users to manually retrieve the packets from the system or a printer, ensuring timely access to important information and promoting efficient collaboration within the maintenance process.

Restrict Printer Access with Organization Mapping

AventX now offers a valuable feature that enables administrators to restrict access to specific printers based on the submitting User’s organization. This functionality empowers organizations to enforce printing policies, ensuring that sensitive Work Order Packets are only accessible by authorized personnel and enhancing overall compliance and data protection measures. The feature also ensures that Work Order packets are mistakenly submitted to a printer in a disparate location that the User cannot access, saving paper and keeping printers free for other Users.
