AventX 26.3.00 is the first release of AventX. It gives your organization one platform for the documents your business systems send out, whether they leave as an email, a fax, an archive copy, or a printed page. Your team always knows where a document is, and your administrators look after one product instead of several.
This release also brings AventX Mobile 26.3, which makes field work more dependable when connectivity is not. Pending actions sync the moment a connection returns, uncertain submissions are flagged instead of resent, and sign-in handles single sign-on and changed passwords more clearly.
Delivery
One Screen for Every Document You Send
When a customer asks whether an invoice or purchase order went out, the answer usually means digging through several systems. Delivery Status tracks every job from the moment it arrives to its final outcome, across email, fax, archive, Local Print, and printing. Your team can search and filter, preview the document, and resend or cancel a job themselves, and administrators can save the searches they run most.
Fax and Email Through the Services You Choose
AventX sends faxes through eFax Corporate, Concord Cloud Fax, or an on-premises FAXCOM server, and email through your own mail server or Mailgun. Archive devices keep a copy in a folder, on a file server, or in AventX’s own encrypted store. When a delivery fails for a reason that can clear up, AventX retries it on its own, so a busy fax line doesn’t turn into a support call.
Fax Numbers Checked Before They Are Dialed
A badly formatted or unwanted number wastes money and can reach the wrong place. Every fax device checks each number against your validation and block settings and formats it for the fax service before it is dialed. Administrators can block emergency and premium-rate numbers and keep their own block list, and can preview how a number will be handled before saving.
Templates for Emails and Cover Pages
Templates let you set the look and wording of email bodies, fax cover pages, and status notification emails once, and have job details filled in for each document. Combined with the AventX Translation Server, documents can be converted and combined before they are delivered or printed.
Integrations
Documents From Oracle EBS, Email, and Your Own Applications
Directory scanners pick up the documents AventX for Oracle EBS produces, and email and fax listeners accept documents sent in by email or print submission. The Workflow Module turns those incoming messages into deliveries using steps you arrange in a visual builder. Your developers can also submit and track jobs through REST APIs, and status files report each job’s outcome back to the system that sent it.
Send Faxes and Emails Straight From SAP
The SAP RFC Module lets SAP users send faxes and emails from SAP and have AventX deliver them through the same devices as everything else. Delivery results are reported back to SAP, so your users see the final status where they started. It can serve more than one SAP system from the same AventX server.
Printing
Printers and Print Queues in One Console
Adding printers one at a time is slow and error-prone. AventX lets you add printers by hand or import them from a CSV file, a CUPS configuration, or Microsoft 365 Universal Print, check what each printer supports, and scan your network for printers. Print queues spread work across the printers in each queue and step around a printer that is failing.
Oracle EBS Printers Kept in Step
Keeping Oracle EBS printer definitions matched to your real printers is a recurring chore. AventX keeps the printers you configure in step with Oracle EBS, so setup happens once and stays consistent.
Local Print: Documents Wait for Their Owner
Some documents should not sit on a shared printer tray. Local Print holds a document in AventX until its owner collects it at their own workstation or at a shared print station. Users can collect documents right in their browser, with no extra software to install.
Print Reporting
A print dashboard shows today’s volume, queue health, and printer status at a glance. Printer scan alerts flag printers that drop off the network, and print analytics show volumes, success rates, and print times by queue and printer.
Administration and Security
Sign-In and Access That Fit Your Organization
Users can sign in with Microsoft 365, with their Oracle EBS account, or with a local AventX account. Roles control which pages and data each person sees, and Microsoft 365 groups can be mapped to roles so access follows your existing directory. HTTPS keeps every connection encrypted.
A Server You Can See Into
Administrators can start and stop the service, watch live server health, view and download logs, and let AventX clean up old jobs and documents on a schedule. Licensed features are turned on from one page, with usage shown against your license.
AventX Mobile: Working Offline
Pending Work Sent the Moment You Reconnect
Completed field work shouldn’t sit on a device waiting for a timer. AventX Mobile now sends pending actions, such as completing a work order, charging time, loading meter readings, or submitting a work request or express work order, as soon as it can reach the server: at sign-in, on reconnect, or when the app returns to the foreground. The sync interval setting now controls retries only, so completed work reaches Oracle EBS sooner.
No More Lost Submissions
A connection that dropped in the middle of a submission used to mean entering the work again. Upload, Complete, and Work Request actions interrupted this way are now saved to the pending queue automatically and sent on the next sync, so nothing has to be entered twice.
Uncertain Actions Are Checked, Not Resent
If the app is closed or stops responding while an action is being sent, it can’t always tell whether the action reached the server. Rather than resend it and risk a duplicate time charge or completion in Oracle EBS, AventX Mobile marks the action Check Needed and explains what happened. The technician can confirm in Oracle EBS, then retry or dismiss the action, which keeps labor and completion records accurate for audits.
Retry or Dismiss Failed Actions
Technicians can now recover failed actions on their own. A long press on any failed or Check Needed action on the Pending Actions screen lets them retry or dismiss it, and each failure shows its reason, down to which meter readings were rejected and why. That means less re-entered data and fewer calls to the help desk.
A Status Bar That Speaks Up Only When It Matters
The status bar at the bottom of the app shows the next sync time only when actions are waiting to be sent. When the queue is empty, it simply shows Connected, so a countdown no longer suggests something is wrong.
AventX Mobile: Sign-In
A Single Sign-On Button You Can Count On
The Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on button is now grayed out when single sign-on isn’t set up on the server or the server can’t be reached. Technicians no longer tap a button only to get a confusing error, which helps most during onboarding and when connectivity drops.
Clear Answers When a Saved Password Is Rejected
After a password change in Oracle EBS, a saved password used to fail with what looked like a generic connection error, and repeated attempts could lock the account. Now, when the server rejects a saved password, AventX Mobile says so plainly, forgets the old password, and stops trying to reconnect with it. Offline sign-in with that password is also blocked until the technician signs in online with current credentials.
