Onondaga County Opts for AventX UNIX and AventX MailPlus in Upgrade
February 3, 2012Onondaga County has selected STR Software’s AventX UNIX and AventX MailPlus as part of the county’s $9.8 million computer system upgrade.
With the implementation Oracle’s PeopleSoft application, Onondaga County required an automated document delivery solution for emailing and faxing purchase orders. After evaluating several vendors, STR Software’s AventX UNIX with MailPlus was chosen.
The AventX product suite provides the ability to email documents and attachments in their native file format. In addition, AventX maximizes Onondaga County’s existing FoIP environment to meet its automated faxing needs. By selecting STR, Onondaga County found a complete document delivery solution.
The County of Onondaga is located in the central New York region and is home to the city of Syracuse and serves a population of over 467,000 residents.
