McGraw-Hill Moves to Oracle EBS R12, Stays with AventX for Document Delivery

October 27th, 2011

McGraw-Hill has relied on STR Software’s AventX since 1998, sending and receiving scores of POs and invoices from Lawson and other applications. With the decision to migrate to Oracle E-Business Suite, McGraw-Hill needed to ensure a smooth transition for fax delivery with a solution that natively supported Oracle R12, BI Publisher reports and attachments—the benchmark was already set for an enterprise class server.

After thoroughly comparing Oracle R12’s delivery options and STR Software’s AventX Oracle Connector, McGraw-Hill determined AventX offered the only approach to meeting their delivery requirements out of the box and within time constraints. With the implementation of AventX, McGraw-Hill is now well positioned for their anticipated go-live to Oracle EBS in early 2012.
