CenturyLink Chooses AventX to Deliver Their SAP ERP Documents

CenturyLink (Monroe, LA), a leading provider of Internet, TV, and Voice services, will use AventX Connector to automate fax delivery from SAP ERP on Windows.
CenturyLink owned two 24-channel RightFax servers nearing end of life; corporate policy mandated the servers be replaced with supported hardware. While reviewing other fax server solutions, CenturyLink also decided to investigate the possibility of using the new fax solution to automatically deliver SAP ERP created documents. During the solution review, it was determined that CenturyLink could utilize a new 48-channel Biscom fax server through their merger with Embarq. To their surprise, Biscom’s FAXCOM fax server also provided a solution for faxing documents from SAP ERP via integration with STR Software’s AventX product. During a Proof of Concept demonstration, STR Software provided the AventX Connector for SAP ERP to work in conjunction with CenturyLink’s Biscom fax server and existing licenses of FAXCOM Server Software and FAXCOM Suite for Windows.
