Bellevue School District Streamlines Purchase Order Process with FoIP

Bellevue School District (Bellevue, WA) has selected STR Software’s AventX solution for automated delivery from SunGard’s web-based software, BusinessPLUS, for financial and school administration. Bellevue’s prior system involved manually printing and faxing purchase orders with no system for organizing and tracking paper-based fax delivery confirmations.
With the addition of AventX UNIX and AventX Mail, Bellevue School District is leveraging their existing VoIP network for hardware-free, electronic fax delivery via FoIP. In addition, they have gained the ability to automatically email documents produced by the SunGard system. The new solution offers a centralized file management interface giving users confirmation of fax delivery and the ability to easily resend failed documents. In the near future, they plan to automate electronic funds transfers using the same technology.
